      I ASK………….  A THOUGHT-PROVOKING QUESTION…….!

                                                HOW DO YOU SEE SIDE HUSTLE???

    Do you see SIDE HUSTLE as what you don’t need because it is for certain people who don’t have stable income or people whose minimum wage is N30,000?                                                       OR……………… Certain people who have lost their jobs and they need the hustle to settle of lot bills and other ‘’stuffs’’ pending when they get a new job{s} which doesn’t apply to you?

Is it ‘’something to toss’’ or NEGLECT once you gotten a job where the Salary is High, and you say, ’’ABEG I NO NEED THIS SIDE HUSTLE STUFF AGAIN! THINGS DON DEY BETTER.’’                        

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm………. HERE IS A FOOD FOR THOUGHT!! Walk with me. The year 2021, was more than a challenging year for me. I was going through a lot emotionally, psychologically, mentally, and financially. In the same year I got a job that made me to say ahhhhhh. THANK GOD! I have finally gotten a job that is restful, peaceful.

Hmmm!  Guess what? it was not peaceful as I thought. Certain people in the management ganged up against me with lies put two and two together……… it became unbearable I had to leave.

 HAS IT OCCURRED YOU MIGHT BE IN A SIMILAR SITUATION??

Please don’t get me wrong. One doesn’t pray for situations like this. We need to face the hard TRUTH! ………… IT MAY HAPPEN. Where is your PLAN B when that happens? Certain circumstances    demands certain financial attention that your ‘’FAT SALARY’’ CAN’T handle. You have gone for loans.

The loan companies said their financial disbursement has been over stretched or their interest    rate is too high, they cant give you the expected loan because they are financially stretched but    they can give you what they can with a limited time to pay back which you when you cant meet    up it comes with a lot of Headaches. Is it at that time you want to start a SIDE HUSTLE? How would    be able to keep up with all the pressures going on???

    My story continues………. I got more closer to the students when I began to teach certain subjects.     I told them I could teach private classes for them to improve educationally. They told their     parents about me. Of course, it wasn’t immediate, but it was a process ‘’Don’t despise the days     humble beginnings’’ At some point some parents called me to negotiate how much I will charge for     private classes. I was good to go. I started before second term ended. The beginning of third term, The Owner of the school was misbehaving. She was owing me the balance of N20,000 and two months salary. At a point I had to leave. The outflow for transportation was eating into my private classes payment. I noticed I couldn’t save, and I was owing debts. I resigned and continued with    the private classes. I had more time and rest for myself. I was earning more. I choose the times for the classes – This is the BEAUTY OF SIDE HUSTLE!  What if I didn’t take the step? My thinking was both payments from my full-time job and SIDE HUSTLE that it will go a long way to sort things out. I never knew what was going to happen the next Term. Think about it……… WHAT IF I DIDN’T HAVE A SIDE HUSTLE? That was what sustained me until I got a job @ ETH10K – OUR NIGERIAN PREMIUM MULTIVENDOR   MARKET PLACE.
